Are you ready for St. Patty's Day? I know I am.
There are so many things to do and ways to celebrate St Patrick's Day, I thought this year I would get prepared for those fun party pictures ahead of time (ok, just one day ahead of time hehe)
I was wanting to make a mini album for my pictures this year but had a hard time finding the "just right" paper to make it, for me anyways…then I thought FABRIC why not use some fabric!
I have plenty of scraps laying around from previous years…from all those parties and displays.
I cut 4 6X6" pieces of fabric and I soaked them in the Helmar Fabric Stiffener laid them on wax paper and used a spatula to remove excess stiffener. (*warning* this project is messy so start by a sink with running water)
I allowed the fabric to dry for about 6 hours (but it is suggested you leave it for 24 hours), then I trimmed the fabric and stitched 2 pieces together for the cover of the album and the back of the album.
Then I filled the album with papers (cut to 6X6 or larger for decorative edges) and added rings. Instead of using ribbon on the rings I wanted a more artsy-rustic look, so I used strips of torn fabric.
Oh and in the end I sprayed it all down with Smooch Spritz! Love that stuff.
I am officially ready for St. Patty's Day and all the fun pictures I can get!
