Hey folks, Tamiko here. Today I am making a Saint Patrick's Day tag I have to swap with a partner and I need to get this in the mail as soon as possible. I made it two-dimensional so that it wouldn't be difficult or expensive to mail, to my partner. Let's check out what I did.
Supplies needed:
Helmar 450 Quick Dry Glue
Helmars Professional Acid Free
2 Large tags
Watercolor paper
Clear gesso
Verla Lane Studio Digital Images
Koi waterbrush marker
Unibal glitter pen
Brea Reese watercolor
Acrylic paint
Brush
I began first taking the two tags and using Helmar 450 Quick Dry Glue to adhere them back to back for support. I chose that glue because of the thickness of the paper that I was using.
With a brush and acrylic paint, I laid down some color on the tag. Once the paint was dry I use Helmar's Professional Acid Free glue to stick down the faux bricks. I created the faux bricks with a scrap of watercolor from a previous project.
I love printing digital images from Vera Lane Studios. I put a little clear gesso on my paper so I could use any type of medium to color the paper images. Then I fussy cut them and used Helmar's Professional Acid Free Glue to stick the images and sentiment down. This particular glue is great for thinner papers because it doesn't expedite the natural aging or yellowing of paper.
Thanks for stopping by to see my project and dont forget to stop by Helmar Worldwide to see all of the fabulous products available.
