Hi, Veronica here today to share with you a steampunk canvas I did of my girl friend's wedding. The canvas is 8×8 and I used lots of Helmar 450 Quick Dry Adhesive which is the best adhesive around.
I started my canvas by first preparing it with some gesso and then a stencil and modeling paste. Then I layered it with a couple of paper patterns which I glued down with the Helmar 450 Quick Dry
My next step was to start adhering all kinds of metal, chipboard, swirls, jewels, flowers anything and everything I had. I glued it all down with Helmar 450 Quick Dry
Lastly I added gesso over the entire canvas then I started to doodle and also spray different mist on the canvas with overall coverage.
As an added touch I glued down small beads to the canvas with the Helmar 450 Quick Dry and then so that my beads, jewels, buttons, and keys would stay down I sprayed a layer of Crystal Kote Matte varnish
This canvas was a lot of fun to make and I now hang it on my wall in my art studio so that I can cherish the memories of my friends special day.
