Thanks Card set

Hi There! This is my very first official Helmar blog post! I am excited to share some projects that I have created with the wonderful Helmar products.  Since Thanksgiving is next week, I thought it would be a good idea to create some place cards but then I thought about it and I am so delighted to NOT be hosting Thanksgiving this year so I created a few "thanks" cards that can easily be used as place cards if you omit the sentiment and add names on them 🙂

Let's get started!  Unfortunately, I am a messy crafter.  I try but I always end up with a crazy messy office at the end of every week.  So I pulled a few supplies out to work on my kitchen counter.  Here is a peek of the mini cards I created:

Here is what my work area looked like in the middle of the process:

I used Bella Blvd patterned paper for this project. (Finally Fall: Quadrants, Borders, Cute Cuts).  I just fell in love with the cute cuts so they became the starting point for my cards.

I used Helmar Quick-Fix Adhesive Runner to adhere the patterned paper to the card base.  Each smaller panel was inked on the edges with Dark Naples Ochre marker by Faber-Castell and then it was popped up with some Helmar Zapdots and most of the designs I cut out were as well:

I love using Helmar 450 Quick Dry for things like adhering the little twine bows to the pumpkins and attaching the small buttons:

Here are individual pictures of each card. All the twine is from May Arts:
