Did you ever wonder if you had the opportunity to meet one of your inspirational mentors what would you say? Well in this case for me I have watched this beautiful artist grow into a fantastic designer and it was not until recently I have realized how much she inspires me along the way. Susan K. Weckesser is now working with Unity Stamps and Want 2 Scrap with some fantastic products!
We here at Helmar got to be lucky enough to play with her products! There could not have been a better threesome in whimsical watercolor heaven then Susan K. Weckesser's paper, her stamps from Unity Stamps and Helmar ! Come on and take a look!
I love how these papers make cards so easy. I am not really a card making gal but this was a piece of cake. The Unity Stamps are just as sweet as Susan K. Weckesser's paper. I used Helmar Craft glue to adhere the layers, Helmar Gemstone Glue to glue on the Dew Drops and Helmar Zap Dots to pop up the "Feeling Blue" corners.
I am still in love with this technique with the gemstone glue and foil. (For a brief step by step in this post called "Everything is Peachy with Helmar Glue and Robin's Nest Dew")
Using this generous sized background stamp I created some texture to this card. I just love the whimsical circles don't you? They pair so well with these lolly-pop flowers from Susan K. Weckesser's water color patterned paper.
Here is a close up of the background stamp from Unity Stamps. It is all so sweet and yummy! I just love it!
