I have been wanting to do a layout of my favourite concert ever!! Usher – OMG! Well OMG does not even describe how fantastic I think Usher is. Needless to say, whilst I was creating this layout, I got a little hot! You can see why, the man is amazing! LOL I had so many things I wanted to fit onto a layout that I decided to turn it into a double page layout.
I most certainly got my glitter on doing this layout. Also got a little futuristic and worked with some metal sheets, which I embossed.
I used Dusty Attic Music Chipboard, which I painted and glittered. I went to my local music store and purchased some sheet music to Usher's "DJ Got Us Falling In Love". I used Helmar Decoupage and Craft Paste to make the background. I then used Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist to spray some red to incorporate the colors.
I used some alphabet chipboard and then cut my sheet metal to fit. I used a Cuttlebug Embossing Folder – Allegro. Then I used Helmar 450 Quick Dry Adhesive to stick the metal lettering to the chipboard and then onto the page.
I used some Kaisercraft overlay for the piano keys.
What a fun girls weekend we had!
I definately enjoyed making this double page layout. Got my glue on in a massive way!
