Hi crafty friends!! Today I'm back with my 1st project of the New Year for Helmar adhesives. This time around though is a magnificent Blog Hop going on this month with Rinea foiled papers! This blog hop happened at a great time since we begin making projects for the upcoming Valentines Day. Our loved ones will then receive beautiful gifts we created with lots of love. So today I am sharing this beautiful card that I have made that will be going to someone special.
I began by cutting & scoring the pink card stock to size. I also had picked out some beautiful paper for my back ground from an Anna Griffin paper pad I had recently purchased. I then used an embossing folder from Spellbinders to emboss this beautiful ornate label image onto the Rinea foiled papers in the Blush/Gold colors. Origianally I was gonna use the blush side then ended up using the gold instead!!
Then I just began putting the card together. I first cut the Anna Griffin paper to size. I left 1/8in all around so I could have a border. For this I thought I would try the Helmar Super-Tac Glue to adhere it to my card stock. Before adhering the embossed piece I stamped the sentiment that I used from a Graphic 45 stamp. I used my Tim Holtz Stamp Platform for this. I also used it to stamp the inside as well.
Once they dried I cut part of that embossed piece because I wanted the design paper to be visible on the bottom. I then used Helmar Tacky Craft Glue to adhere the embossed piece of paper to the design paper. I then wanted to add some kind of trim so I found this silk beautiful one in my stash. I thought it look great. I used the Helmar 450 Quick Dry Adhesive to adhere the trim. Lastly I added some Prima and Wild Orchid Craft Flowers then spritz on some DecoArt glimmer spray for a little bit of shimmer.
I really enjoyed using these foiled papers from Rinea along with the adhesives from Helmar .I will definitely be using them in some of my upcoming projects for Valentines Day and other future projects. I do hope that you feel inspiration from my project to get yourself some of these foiled papers and Helmar adhesives to make your own variety of cards, invitations, etc.
Thank you Rinea for sending me this great assortment of papers. I hope you liked how I used them. Thanks Helmar Adhesives for the different adhesives I am able to use on all my projects!! I'll be back next month with another fun project!!
XOXO,
Jeanne
