Hi there
Lisa here today to share another creation using Rinea foil.
As It's almost Valentines Day & I have gorgeous fuschia foil to work with – I thought I'd make a card.
All I could think of was hearts, hearts & more hearts!
The idea I had initially was to create a bunch of hearts – so this is what I came up with.
My adhesives of choice for this project were:
Cut your card & card front to size as required.
Select co-ordinating patterned papers to layer below your card front.
Using the foil below the white card gives it a pop.
Draw the strings free hand with a fineliner. I drew this first with a pencil – then went over it with a fineliner, then rubbed out the pencil lines.
Use Premium Craft glue to adhere the patterned paper to the card.
I punched lots of hearts out in various sizes. How cool is that the reverse of the foil is gold!
Using the premium craft glue adhere the hearts to the front of the card.
I decided to adhere the foil layer to the card base with Liquid Scrap dots to give it some extra dimension.
Some of the hearts I layered for dimension. A really easy way to add impact is to duplicate your image by layering.
I also gave them the look that some of them are sitting up. To do this I gently creased some hearts over a metal ruler.
Here is a closer look at the completed card on angle – so you get a better look at what I mean in regards to the hearts.
Thanks so much for stopping by. I hope you've enjoyed my share today featuring Rinea foil.
