Cindy here today sharing a couple of projects with added dimension thanks to Helmar Zap Dots and Helmar Liquid Scrap Dots .
This cute little seal is actually a sign that’s about 12” high that I made for my Granddaughter’s seal themed birthday party a couple of weeks ago. I used my electronic die cutting machine and cut out the seal image and it’s layers, then on to assembling with my Helmar Products.
The banner along the bottom is lifted off the base using Zap Dots. They give a uniform, sturdy lift. For the seal body, I first gave it some shape by rounding it gently with my hands. I then applied several areas of Liquid Scrap Dots to the back and adhered it to the base. The Liquid Scrap Dots adjusts to the varying depths required with the rounded shaping. The button, half pearls, and lettered beads are all adhered using Helmar Gemstone Adhesive .
My next project is a keepsake box. The box is cut on my machine and assembled with Helmar Premium Craft Glue. I secured the ribbon around the edge of the lid with Helmar 450 Quick Dry because it doesn’t show through the ribbon and now the ribbon won’t slip with handling.
Top embellishments include a piece of a net type holiday ribbon, adhered to a paper base with Helmar 450 Quick Dry and then that piece adhered to the box using Zap Dots . The sea images are machine die cut, assembled, heat embossed and then adhered to the top with Zap Dots. The reliable Helmar Gemstone adhesive is used to securely attach the brass starfish.
