Good day everyone, today, I am going to show you how to make this cute quilled teddy bear that you can give as a gift to a loved one, co-worker or anyone else you choose.
Here is what you will need:
Helmar Craft & Hobby PVA Glue
Quilling Tool
Quilling strips (any color you choose)
Stick pins
Cardboard or quilling board
Non stick surface to apply to the cardboard
Old paint brush
Small gems for eyes
First you will need to quill all your parts of the teddy bear. See the picture below.
After you have made them all, you will start assembling the bear…
To help hold the pieces in place after you put the glue on them, you will need the pins to help hold it together until it is dry.
After it dried, I applied another layer of the Helmar Glue all over the bear to make it stronger.
I then attached a chain with a kind of hook closure on it to attach to a purse, keychain, backpack or whatever you can think of.
And your done. I love to quill, it is very relaxing I think and fun to see the completed piece when it all comes together.
I decided to make a smaller bear and attach it to a tiny planter that I have a small cactus to plant in it. The piece of cactus fell off a larger one and I want to re-pot the piece that broke off.
