Hello crafty people, hope all is well with you. We're in the middle of winter here in Melbourne,
it's so wet and cold! So today I have a beach layout I've created for a little instant warmth and inspiration!

I wanted to create a lot of texture for a beach theme so I started with lots of mists and paint,
sprayed randomly. Next I used gloss medium and gesso with a stencil and a Helmar spatula.
I wanted to place my photo's and paper in the middle of the page, so I started adding hessian threads
with Helmar PVA glue where I knew they would 'poke out' of the edges of the papers.
Next I glued down my papers and photo's and started to add embellishments
with Helmar professional acid free glue and on others I used Helmar's Scrap Dot's for dimension.
One of the embellishments I used is made of rubber and in the past I've found they never stay 'stuck'.
this time I used Helmar Foam Glue and it worked fabulously!
As a finishing touch I added some decorative sand and Prills to some of the embellishments
with Helmar tacky craft glue
